The Black Currant is a species of Ribes berry native to central and northern Europe, northern Asia, New Zealand, planted in China mainly in Sinkiang and Northeast China. The Black Currant is known for higher degrees of anti-oxidants,  rich in Vitamin C, K, Ca, P, anthocyanidins, polyphenol etc.
